3 Mile Runs and Bikram Yoga
For the past week or so I’ve been running 3.11 miles every day and doing Bikram Yoga. Such a good feeling to sweat like that, on my way to a summer bod :)
For the past week or so I’ve been running 3.11 miles every day and doing Bikram Yoga. Such a good feeling to sweat like that, on my way to a summer bod :)
After eating like absolute crap last night I tried to run 3 miles, I got .17 miles down my street and got a cramp that was unbearable and had to turn back. Hoping yoga will clear my body of this gross bloat and poison and I can run the 3 miles when I get back. We shall see…
Wow, I need to really get back on track. I ate like absolute crap yesterday- volunteers bringing in candy and pizza= bad news bears for my diet. I need more self-control.
Today= 3 mile run, hot yoga and only food that will fuel my body.
Today I have taken it easy despite my desire to go for a run. I’ve stayed home and chilled out and read book 2 of the hunger games. Tomorrow will be different.
PLAN:
-Hot Yoga 8:00 AM
-Run 6 miles
-Kenpo (to catch up from missed work out on Wednesday if feeling up to it)
I would not change a thing about today if I could. I woke up and weighed myself: 115 lbs!!!! I went to Bikram Yoga in place of Yoga X this morning from 10-11:30. Each time I go I love it more, I also sweat more and more each time. Then from there I went to Newport. I went to Panera Bread and got a You Pick Two Italian Combo and Greek Salad. I sat on a bench at the port and ate my salad and sandwich and read two chapters of The Hunger Games. Then I went on a 5 mile run on the Cliff Walk which overlooks the ocean and Newport mansions. I was only supposed to run 2 miles today according to my training plan but I decided to keep going because it was so beautiful and I was feeling good. Then I lay out on the beach and read a few more chapters of the hunger games. Now I’m home and soon going out to dinner with my family and my sister who is finally back from college for Spring Break.
Today was a perfect day.
Today was my 2nd day of Bikram Yoga, day 18 of P90x. I had another wonderful experience in Bikram and wish I could do it every day. Eventually I hope to do a 30 day challenge after P90x and my half marathon are over and I can commit fully. I love it though. I love feeling the sweat pour off my body. I love not thinking about everything that is going on in my life- my horrible day at work yesterday completely washed away and now I feel rejuvenated to go back today. I can’t wait to go back again, next week there are 2 Yoga X’s scheduled so I get to go twice… so excited!
Yay! Tomorrow is my favorite work out day! 2 mile run in the am, then 10:00 Bikram Yoga. Can’t wait to sweat my ass off!
I am already thinking about doing a second half marathon on August 19th after my first one on May 12th.
I eventually want to do a full marathon.
I also want to do a 30 day hot yoga challenge sometime in the future because I am so in love with bikram right now, I’ve even thought about a 365 day challenge but that seems like it might be logistically difficult because sometimes things come up.
I want to do the warrior dash in September.
I want to continue p90x for at least one more 90 series, and maybe even do double p90x at some point.
I also want to try Insanity.
I want to do Brazilian Butt Lift.
…I want the perfect body and I am committed to getting it.
